Mission

The mission of Alaska Association of TRiO Programs is to be a catalyst in Alaska for progressive initiatives that promote educational equity, access and opportunity for traditionally marginalized student populations.

Vision

We believe that every TRiO student and program in Alaska has the resources and tools needed to achieve their full potential.

Goals and Objectives

The Alaska Association of TRiO Programs will fulfill the mission and vision of the organization through the following steps:

• Advocacy–We will support local, state, and federal educational initiatives that raise student achievement and opportunity.
• Leadership–We will build coalitions of allied community partners and will tap into local and statewide resources that enhance program operations.
• Resource and Partnership Development: We will work to build coalitions of allied community partners and access to local and statewide resources that enhance program operations.
